Default Mechanism of heroin causing hemorrhoids

heroin is an opiate so it slows down git motility but how does slowing down git motility cause hemorrhoids?? pls explain??

Yea you are almost there...

Slow down GI motility---> CONSTIPATION

May predispose to hemmorhoids Im guessing.

thanks for replying!!! yes true it is constipation but in first aid it also says hemmorhoids, wondering what the mechanism of that is

I'm thinking that constipation can lead to straining which predisposes to hemmorhoids. Straining is prolonged muscle contraction which dilates veins and puts them under extreme amounts of pressure.
