Default My usmle journal

Hello, I am an IMG finished internship this march and started prep properly only by august.

Presently i have watched Kaplan Videos and started with uworld.

Have completed uworld Anat and uworld Behavscience with biostats, started with uworld biochem, i dont remember anything from kaplan while doing uworld biochem no regrets, mol bio and genetics as such are so volatile. will give kaplan a read today.

POINTS I HAVE TO IMPROVE UPON :

- USMLE is all about depth, ill do redo everything again i dont mind, i want to be sure.

background ; i study in a library, 8-10 hours i can put it in. im get distracted easily so planning to leave my phone at home. Short term pains for long term gains.

Also since i want to apply for the 2017 match, im on a tight schedule, can slack around.

I want to stay motivated, i dont mind people ridiculing me, i am following the bandwagon of maintaining a journal, but this would keep me going.

October 9 - Day 1 of proper study : can put only a few hours today as i will be running errands.

Cut short time on gadgets

Exam Timeperiod for me is JANUARY most likely.

Default Day 2

Today is a really lazy day. I totally forgot about this post, started at around 11am today.

Left mobilephone at home and came off to the library, atleast im practising self control.

Watched two movies in the library it was a bad thing, and now redoing biochemistry, its such a volatile subject, molecular bio. Im super pumped still, let bygones be bygones. posting everyday must be exciting.

Day 2 isnt over, i have 7-8 hours until i sleep, so will get some info about biochem into my head.

I will see hoe true i have been to my word in 7-8 hours.

Default Day 3 - 11 oct time is 730am

I have this urge to start my days sooner. going to get ready for the library.

I did finish Molecular Biology, today be done with kaplan, and also review notes. first aid if possible the biochem section and finish 20 questions of the uworld block which was left.

Have too much to do, if i finish half the things i set out for i would call it a success, but not selling myself short, finish it all is the plan.

NOTE TO SELF : DONT GET DEPRESSED. ITS A JOURNEY ENJOY IT CHERISH IT.

EDIT : Day was totally weird, had to leave city due to an medical emergency for grandpa. did a few stuff on travel.

Should maximize time now. shouldnt plan too much, cant plan anything at all. I will post at the end of the day i guess.
