Default I need an advice about my kaplan qbank plan

Hello
This is my situation
I've done kaplans and while doing them i did FA..

Now I want to start kaplan qbank, subject wise, what is better to do
Purchase a month and then start doing FA along with it??
Or shall I do some chapters from FA first then start the qbank so I will be oriented??

And another question, I have a good picture about the subjects, how many questions a day can i do if i dedicated 5-6h for the qbank??

Help appreciated
Thanks alot

People normally start Kaplan Qbank during/after their 2nd read. Doing it subject wise would be better. You can do 2 blocks a day and review all the questions, adding notes into FA when needed. This should take 6-7 hours if not more. Don't worry too much about the overall %. Try to learn as much as you can and the Qbank will help you get a firm grasp on Kaplan Lecture Notes. After doing Kaplan Qbank, if you get around 70% that is very good. Next what you can do is give final read of lecture notes in 15 days and start UWorld along with First Aid. Try to get around 65-75% on UWorld depending on what you are aiming for. Really take UWorld seriously as it's the most important thing during your entire Step 1 preparation. Lot of people spend the entire day reviewing 1 or 2 blocks.

Do you mean how many questions are in the qbank? You can check the kaplan qbank website.

Are you asking whether you need to read the explanations to the answers you get right? If you know the concept behind it, it will take you less than a minute to read the explanation. Take down notes only on the parts that you don't know (obviously) so you'll save time.

If you're pressed for time, you must have a target number of questions to review per day and commit to that. The speed that you go through the qbank depends on the mastery you have for each subject. Like warfarin90 said, 2 blocks per day can be realistic but if you're weak on a subject, you might be doing less no. of questions for that particular subject.
