Listening No title for that one: Administrator Help plz!

A Study is conducted to evaluate the effects of high potency antipsychotic drug on neuron in vitro in a bath that contain Ach, dopamine, norepinephrine and serotonine. The receptor that is studing and believed to be responsible for the therapeutic efficacy of this drug in schinophrenia. Which of the following effects would most likely occur intracllular after the addition of this drug to the bath.

A- Decreased cAMP
B- Decreased IP3
C- Decreased Na+
D- Increased cAMP
E- Increased IP3
F- Increased Na+

Any help will be welcome with EXPLANATION

A... dopamine d2 receptor for high potency antipschyotics..so d2 receptors act via Gi pathway(sorry forgot it..had to google it..so its cheating u can say)...

hey it says after addition of the drug ... which is a D2 antagonist ... see FA its given in the brackets ( inc cAMP).... god now they ask Qs from these small brakects .. lol

...oopsssss..just got it wrong....its an atagonist of d2...sorry then its increae camp..so sorry..thanks hitman..thanks a lot mate..just hoping these mistakes will always and haunt me

Antipsychotics by definition will block D2 dopamine receptors, being those receptors Gi meaning block adenylyl cyclase, decrease cAmp, and protein kinase A.

Why on earth did you name the thread "No title for that one: Administrator Help plz!"??
I could think of lots of other names... that is very misleading. Why do you need administrator's help? why not other forum members?
