my guess is: similar to thiazide (diuretic used to treat NDI PARADOXICALLY
) it will lower blood pressure hence decrease in GFR which will stimulate RAS mechanism.
This will increase aldosterone and hence water retension for volume depleted NDI patient.
the fact that this is PARADOX situation, will help u memorize easier.
