I cannot remember off the top off my head, but check out the micro section in FA under H.poly there it lists the comb that you use PPIs with. From what I recall its the PPI is comb with a macrolide and a metronidazole that is more expensive than the BMT one.

there are two main regiments;

1) BMT

2) omeprazole + clarithromycin + amoxicillin
- the drugs can be interchanged with others in their respective groups but these are the most commonly used three.

Correct, but not exactly.

The best initial therapy for H.pylori eradication is PPI + 2 antibioticls (clarithromycin + amoxicillin)

if the initial therapy fails, treatment with PPI is combined with Bismuth and 2 other antibiotics - tetracycline and metronidazole.
