I have come across a question in which I have to calculate the corrected reticulocyte count. There is a low hematocrit value, with a ret count ~ 2.8%, I calculated the corrected ret count and got <2%. It turned out to be an acute hemolysis in G6PD deficiency after the patient had had a diarrhea and self ingested TMP-SMX (in the answer choices ).
