Default USMLE for IMG Batch 2001

Hello Doctors!

I need your advice. I am now in US working as a Med Tech (Pre-med) but still studying (and hoping) to pursue my career as MD. One coworker kinda discouraged me before when I was told that there's a 7 years period to be matched and be able to train and eventually practice here. I'm sooo over tht time limit! I know I should have done something earlier but going to USA is about being a family man. What can you suggest about my situation right now? Is it worth to pursue or is it too late? Any answer will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks fellows!

There's never an end to education/studying. So no you are not late.
If you want it you have to go for it don't think abt the years or time... I know some older people who went to my med school because they once wanted to do this and couldn't for whatever reason so they are there now. So I am sure you can too.. You just need to see how long its been ever since you last did something and the requirements. Start contacting the schools you want to go to and see what you can do.
