its just some formula someone came up with based on scores he had seen.
ive seen some people use 1.38 as well

but dont use this as a serious indication.
before the step you have to do an online nbme.

yes I ve done one online before and planning to do the other
but i know that uworld calculate it in different way , but I did uwsa 2 and when u compare the wrong number of question in uworld to that in nbme (take in consideration that nbme 50 question while uwsa is only 46)
you find some difference so I just wanted to know is that analysis from some students or it is confirmed information from NBME or some other official resources as I dont know why 1.38 or 1.4 and some people even say 1.37???

No its not confirmed info, these are general techniques of reaching approximations.
Actually calculating a 3digit score is based on a conplex formula which takes into account much more than just the number correct.
Nbme has a top secret logarithm for this.
Score correlatoring tools and uwsa 3 digit scores are all other logarithms that try to mimick that of the nbme.
But since nbme is same ppl who grade step1, their formula is the right one, just noone knows exactly what it is.
