what exactly is scabies?

i didnt think this was tinea because isnt tinea a ringworm? like you'll see a ring under the skin, which is not the description giving in this question.

yea but if its between your toe u dont really look for "ring worm"
tinea pedis aka "Athlete foot" is quite well know and common...
scabies between your toes? i would have guessed more on trunk,,from bed or blanket..
scabies is a parasite that lodge on your skin and causes intense itching,,,
but so does athelete foot right?

i think tinea pedis is a dermatophyte infection and is not usually associated with intense inflammation unless it was gotten from an animal. Unlike scabies.
