this should be an easy point if you understand how to read the blot.

proband is the kid in question
it shows one fragment for him
and they say he may have it

so anybody who has this same fragment may also have it

the only other person who does is sister 2 (well, the mother does, but thats not an option).

since its X-linked, the boy will likely express it (since XY; one X) and the sister is a carrier (since XX; 2 X's. one is inactivated, likely the X with this fragment since she is not affected).

easy peezy lemon-squeezy.
