Unhappy I got the lowest passing score step 1

I'm in shock I just got my score for step 1... 75/189
It would have been better just to fail it and take it over again... What am I going to do now? Do I still have a chance to get into psychiatry? I was planning on applying this fall but now I don't now if I'll ever get the chance to match.

Don't worry, there is a huge demand for Psychiatrists and Primary care physicians. If you aim for Psychiatry residency, you don't need more than a pass, and also you still have step2 CS, CK, step3 and other factors to put into CV. Good luck for step2!

Yep! Patho2012 is right. I know someone who scored the same and was still able to get into psychiatry.

Hey don't worry so much of what you can get into or not. In part most matches will look at your character. If I was a residency director, I'd choose someone that I can get along with and a teamplayer. Not some smart stuckup person that has horrible personality.
If you search old threads and other forums you'll find people with 240+ and still no residency.

Hey, patonow, I got my score today and it's the same as yours. I'm in a shock and can't understand whether I should sit for Step 2. Like you, I'm an IMG too. Can you help me out with any suggestions?
