I'm using 2010. Makes me feel like a dinosaur.

Is 2011 really different from 2010???

It seems like they added some more lecturers and some new slides/animations/etc for the purpose of diversity, but I think the content is almost all the same.

Thank you for the reply! So the quality seems good? Meaning, DIT 2012 is just as good as DIT 2010/2011, if not better right?

I'm worried because kaplan videos got worse over time(the green background videos suck compared to the previous ones)

I've only seen little bits and pieces of 2010 and 2011, so I can't comment on the quality of the videos, but I don't see any reason why they wouldn't have improved. It's mostly still the same lecturer and the same content, with a few tweaks.

The 2011 workbook was also more extensive.

But I don't know about 2012... their website says that they now have 80 hours of content, and the 2010/2011 ones were only about 65 hours. I think a chunk of that 80 hours might come from the fact that they've made video reviews for their biweekly quiz questions, but I've heard that they also added some actual content. So I'm debating whether or not to buy it...

You're saying the 2011 workbook is more extensive but compared to what? the 2012 workbook?

No that can't be it. I know that the 80 hours of video content does not include the video answers for the biweekly quizzes, im almost 90 percent sure unless i misread something.

I can only compare 2011 to 2010. The 2011 workbook is more extensive than the 2010 workbook. I haven't seen any of the 2012 material.

I'll stick with 2010. The whole point of DIT is to be a rapid review that covers everything in FA. When they start going into all these extra tangents it becomes more of a proper course than a rapid review.
