Question Which closer to test; USMLE World or NBME?

hi
I am just confused about this
when I do uworld and FA, I know most of the ideas, but when I do NBME, I get low marks, and have at least 10 questions wrong in each block, I see many new ideas in NBME, but people keep on saying keep to uworld and FA ,
which one (in regard to concepts is more close to the exam , NBME or uworld??)

NBME is closer to exam in predicting ur score...bt u the concepts tested r from both uworld, NBME and FA .....i gave step 1 2 weeks ago and it was like mixture of uworld ,FA and NBME.....In my opininion, to score well in exam , people shud concentrate on Uworld + FA (highly recommended)and Goljan pathology (audio lectures very imp) and do a LOT OF MCQ's wherever u find them and look for the concept which is tested in the MCQ's.....and more importantly conc on figures , graphs and Radiology ( CTs , MRIs and X-rays )....and PRAY TO GOD TO GIVE U STRENGTH TO DO ALL THIS........

m sorry for the late reply........do all the NBME's bcoz we r to luk what concept they test ....ok.....bt NBME 7,11,12 must be done online......bcoz i think they r the better ones and their prediction of score is quite close to real exam score......(at my time NBME 13 wasn't available so u can think of giving a try to it too).......as i previously said do as many questions u can and take notes of imp concepts tested......and wherever u go wrong STRENGTHEN THAT WEAK AREA......MCQs shud be done only once u have done all abt step 1 ie. in last days.....DO AS MANY REVISIONS TO UWORLD AND FA AS U CAN......yeah some of the concepts tested in NBME's r on real exam too......so i wud say do all NBME's and since they r costly ...at least do NBME 7,11,12 online....BEST OF LUCK .......!!!!

offline NBME's do help bt u need to have correct answers available to u otherwise u can sometimes end up with a wrong answer.......I gave NBME's 3,5,6,7,11,12 online......and NBME's 1,2,4 offline.....
