A 59-year-old woman complains of “feeling light-headed” and losing 5 kg (11 lb) in the last month. A CBC reveals a normocytic, normochromic anemia. The patient subsequently dies of metastatic cancer. Based on current epidemiologic data for cancer-associated mortality in women, which of the following is the most likely primary site for this patient’s malignant neoplasm?
Not quite sure. Ovarian cancer 8th most common cancer in females but has the 4th highest mortality. Uterine cancer is 4th most common in females but has the 8th highest mortality. I'm not sure of endometrial. Sorry if my facts are wrong but I think those are right!
Correct, also if asked about age brackets: 45 - cervical, 55 - endometrial, 65 - ovarian
