By far, Costanzo. Either her BRS or her text (which also looks like a review book) if you're having difficulties grabbing concepts.

There isn't a single person that has badmouthed this book. What a reputation it has. Gold standard for physio...no joke.

@srmc06:

Yep, the kaplan physio videos are a big help in answering those graphs! I agree with usmlemydream. Try the videos first before you switch to another book.

Watch the 2010 videos of Kudrath, Dunn, and Fischer. The videos that are very helpful are cardio, renal, and pulmo -- these are the topics that are heavily tested in uworld and contain lots of graphs.

Almost everyone says BRS Costanza is the best physio book. I've never gone over it but I think if you do Kaplan + FA + UW/Kaplan QBank .. that should be more than enough to cover whats on the exam. Kaplan goes over CONCEPTS, and High yield, FA goes over HY and facts and UW/Qbank test you on it and you can see how the physiology is applied in questions ...That's pretty much all you need!

The more sources, the more overwhelming it gets to "finish" everything! Keep your sources to a minimum but know which ones you need!
