Planning My Study Schedule

Hello, everyone.

My name is Juan and I'm an international med student from Costa Rica. I wanted to share my study schedule with you guys to see what you think of it, and for those with previous experience with the USMLE to tell me if they think it's enough to get a decent grade (or at least pass the test). Even though I haven't paid for the test yet, I'm planning to take it the third or fourth week of October.

I'm using 11 books total. Additionally, I'm watching the Kaplan Video Lectures from 2010 (except a few that are missing from the files).
  1. First Aid for the USMLE Step 1 2011
  2. First Aid for the USMLE Step 1 Clinical Cases
  3. Kaplan medEssentials 3rd ed
  4. Kaplan Qbook 2008
  5. Kaplan LN 2012

I'm planning to read all books by July. I made a detailed schedule using Study Crammer which I think goes beyond the focus of this thread. I'm probably reading and watching videos about 6 hours per day (more on weekends). I remind you, I'm a student and I'm also taking classes (easy ones, thank goodness).

July I'll take a Kaplan 7-week Live Lectures + 4 months Center Prep course. This includes the Kaplan Qbank. Also, in July I'll start paying for a subscription of the UWorld Qbank.

My questions are as follow:
  1. Is this enough/too much?
  2. Should I read the First Aid, medEssentials, or both?
  3. Will I need more time?

I remind you, I'm planning on taking the test the third or fourth week of October. I need to come back to Costa Rica the first week of November to do a very similar test.

All comments are appreciated! Thanks.
