Zygote What is day 0 in Embryo Life!

regarding the fetal landmarks in embryo,

what does day 0 represent? i mean is it the first day of a 40-week pregnancy? how long is it from a LMP?
What i mean is, what does "day 0" (day of fertilization) represent?

i know it seems like a silly question, but a friend of mine got a question about fetal landmarks wrong in the exam even though he knew this table cold! just because he mixed up the "2-week" period, which i didnt understand what he meant by!

Default

0 is the day when pregnancy starts, egg & sperm unite in the ampulla
this happens on day 14(+/-1) of the ovulation cycle, or 2 weeks after 1st day of LMP
