How does our Live Prep course work?

• We use FIRST AID and PATHOMA for USMLE Step 1 book as a SYLLABUS and take each topic from that book and further discuss/explain and break down the concept in a simple way to a point where it is very easy to understand. REMEMBER WE DO NOT READ THE FIRST AID PAGE TO PAGE. READING THE FIRST AID CAN BE DONE BY STUDENTS THEMSELVES.

For instance, Hyperaldosteronism is written in 6 to 7 lines in the book. We take that topic and discuss and break down to the point any student can understand and handle any type of challenging questions.

We do not stop with breaking down the concepts, we also teach test taking skills and strategies.
For example:
How to analyze and understand the questions,
How to narrow down the options to 2 and choose the best answer,
How to exclude the wrong answers in a situation where you do not know the right answer, etc.

Why do we use First Aid and PATHOMA not other books?

• First Aid for step 1 and PATHOMA are ranked as a world's best selling medical review books for USMLE. It is wise to use a famous book as a SYLLABUS.

How are we different from other prep institutions?

• We love teaching and our passion is to teach students for USMLE exam and seeing them succeed where they obtain their dream residency. We are a small organization where we do not take more than 6 students per group, which maintains the quality of our training whereas big groups tend to lack in quality due to larger amount of students.
• We are flexible, customizable, according to each student's needs, which is only possible with smaller group organization.

• Lowest and affordable price: our prices are affordable having only 6 students per group whereas other prep institutions have larger amount of students per group and the prices are higher.

• Our methodology is completely different (ex: lectures start at 9:00am and goes to 12:30-1pm in the afternoon. Students take a break, and they review the entire lecture until evening. By the time they go home, they have already reviewed the material covered. It makes it easy to keep up with material, which helps the students learn the new material with a fresh mind the following day which is VERY ESSENTIAL. Having lectures from morning until evening, becomes overwhelming and almost impossible to review the material on the same day. Therefore, students will not be able to cope up with the material and eventually give up.

Why don't we take more than 6 students per group?

• USMLE Step 1 is one of the toughest exam on this planet which consists of 8 subjects. It is very hard to learn/review within a short period of time. When we have a smaller group, we can make sure that every student understands each concepts and this is almost impossible with a larger group of students.

• With 6 students per group, it gives the opportunity for our lecturer to have 1-1 eye contact and communication with each student.

• Because it's a small group, students have to pay attention and concentrate to the lecture where they have less chances to get distracted which gives a feeling of a boot camp.

BUILD THE BRIDGE TO SUCCESS THROUGH MEDICAL LEGENDS

What our students are saying…

"Everyone has dreams and aspiration for their lives. If you want to be a doctor in the United States, you must be able to get through USMLE exams, but this is easier said than done. There are a lot of courses out there and a lot of advice online. It is hard to decide what is the best for you. I choose Medical Legends, purely by chance, but I do not regret it at all. Dr. Roy was able to coach me through my preparations and tackle any difficult concepts that I had trouble with. It's only because I listened to him was I able to get through this hurdle in my life. Words could not explain how grateful I and my family are to him. Now I have joined for my Step 2 preparation as well. If you are having trouble preparing for you Step 1 Exam, give Medical Legends a chance. After joining the course, I realized that this exam is not impossible, and the hope for my dreams has been restored."
