Question Clinical versus Surgical Staging?

In Kaplan Lecture Notes, it states that only cervical cancer uses clinical staging. Other gyn cancers such as endometrial cancer, vulvar cancer and ovarian cancer are all surgical staging. What are the difference between these two stagings?

clinical staging - any information on the cancer before surgery. Do a PE, x-ray, ct-scan, endoscopy, anything that is non to minimal invasive.

Surgery staging - I think you this one is self explanatory.
