Default How many Q's,i can get wrong in a block and still get above 230?

hi everyone

i was wondering how many Q's one can get wrong in a block and still get more than 230?

P.s: speaking bout STep1 exam..( USMLE ) .. and if someone knows about NBME too , it wil be awsome

i appreciate help

Well in NBMEs they all slightly differ in scoring but usually 165/200 is around 230. So about 80%+ on NBME.

I failed 29 questions on NMBE 13 and got 237. I also failed 39 on NMBE 15 and got 232.

I would say that failing between 5-7 you will still get a good score.
