Question Step 1 or Step 2 CS

I'm done with Step 2 CK & got a pretty decent score.. I'm planning to take Step 1 & want to give it in 5 months.. Is that possible?..I'm a 4 yr. old graduate & I'm good in my clinical subjects but its been a while since I studied basic sciences. Also I'm wondering if I should give CS first & then start Step 1.? Someone plz advice!

Since you have already given your step2 CK so i think its better if you give your CS first and then step 1.

I would disagree with Highlander, a lot of stuff on CK overlaps with Step 1. It would be better to utilize whatever you gained from CK towards Step 1. CS is not really a big deal for someone like you who has good clinical knowledge!

Dude, I don't think you have a choice.

If you apply for Step 2 CS you'll see that the earliest available appointment is in August.

So apply for the CS and then start reading for Step 1, you can stop reading step 1 for 2-3 weeks if you get a CS appointment in the middle.
