Planning 250 Score needed; Am I missing something?

Another question about scoring.

I'm about 1/3 way through my studies. Doing the exam on end of July but taking whole May off. Very straight forward question I'm doing Kaplan qbank the score is 66% on random timed mode used about 30% up to now. I'm planning to do uworld about 1 month before the exam.

I'm studying from FA, Kaplan videos, and Goljan RR book and audio recordings with BRS pathology.
for pharma Im using Katzung and Trevor.

Avery quick question I'm aiming for very high score at least above 250. Am I missing something? or should I add something to my studies?

As an IMG i know that getting 220-230 will prove very difficult to get a match, so please try to help me.

Instead of using four different path resources (yes, Goljan RR and Goljan audio are two different things), you might be better off investing your time on something else, like a brief HY review of biochem, micro, neuroanatomy, etc (in addition to Kaplan's overview). Based on your plan, it seems like you'll know everything about pathology and pharm at the cost of everything else.

You might also want to consider a comprehensive high-yield review course like DIT.

But of course, it depends largely on how comfortable you are with your own background knowledge.

If you're already averaging 66% on Kaplan with three months to go, you're probably in pretty good shape for your goal.

Thank you for the replay,

I am considering a DIT maybe towards the end of my studies in the last month.

I have been studying the general principles from the kaplan videos and FA book, for 2 months now, of course adding any extra information form the Kaplan Qbank.

Do you think that is enough? or should i also get those highY books that you have recommended?
I would like to add that i am a 4th year student and my knowledge in microbiology, anatomy and biochemistry (and only those 3) is pretty (hopefuly) fresh.

everything seems to be fine with your plan apart from the fact that acc to me you are using too many resources for Path and they might screw things up especially when u review stuff closer to the test.Goljan alone is more than enough along with UWorld n FA. instead i wud use that time to do some other qbank. But at the end of the day you are your best judge and you have to figure out what is best for you.good luck
