Default exam in 10 days please need an advice

Hi all, well i dont know what to do on those 10 days i have been doing my UW notes for the last 3 and half days and did like half of them but the problem is they just evaporate since it's too much information (and no they arent the first time to them and thats why thats is frustrating), so i don't know should i even bother and continue doing the rest or just to focus on FA and do it very well?? i do feel like i dont remember the first aid at all too many holes i mean like if a couple days pass after doing micro or bio they tend to just evaporate out of my head so i need a good through reading i guess...... idk if I explained my situation right but I really need any kind of help or advice... thank you

i feel the same way. my exam is on the 30th. i think everyone feels like this. I am doing a 100 qs in the morning and reading 50 pages a day from FA and doing The List of Forgettables that you can find on this forum if you search.

my best advice is to take a couple days off from studying before your exam. you cant learn much in that time, but you can rest a lot. going into the exam feeling well physically and mentally rested is more important than cramming in a few last details.

one thing that worked for me on the exam was having enough food and snacks and also taking plenty of breaks. for my step 2 and 3 i took a break after every block. eating a crisp apple would help wake me up a bit, and the snacks just felt good.

good luck on your exam

I think everybody feels like nothing is being retained but you will surprise yourself in the exam when you start to recall things.

That's a pretty good score. The highest I got on an nbme was 228 and I range from 220 - 228 on them.

During my exam I couldn't stop thinking "I wish I would've review my NBME's in more detail..." But 2 days before the exam all you should do is just relax...

Why do you say, you wish you reviewed your nbmes?

Well, I think you should relax and brush through the topics you are weak at. Maybe 6 hrs a day at the max, and just keep flipping pages recollecting information. Don't try reading anything new. Only revise. Revise. And revise.

You will do amazing. You need to convince yourself that! No negative thinking. You have made it this far, you are capable. Do another NMBE and practice being in a relaxed state of mind while testing. I would imagine that at this point reviewing and doing questions lightly would benefit you more than learning new concepts. Nonetheless, wish you much success!

239 is an amazing score. Just make sure you know your pelvic anatomy really well. 2 of my friends had a lot of pelvic anatomy on their exam and they said that it wasn't in first aid or uworld
