Getting matched in Canada is nearly impossible for IMG's however there are people who get matched...but the number is very low...as the system reserves most seats for Canadian Medical school graduates.

Anyways, just a question - Whats the difference between MCCEE and MCCQEE or are they the same thing ?

Also, when do the Canadian students write those exams? Is it the same format as USMLE? Does anyone know?

@ Tarek- If you are not Canadian nor planning on becoming a Canadian your are ineligible for the Canadian system. There is no visas like the US for physicians. However you can apply for permanent resident status which may take long time and then you will become eligible for the Canadian match.

@Hope2Pass- Not all the exams are necessary for graduates of Canadian Medical schools. MCCQEE is the qualify exam and Canadian students don't take that one.

@NickRiveria: If your from Ontario contact HealthForceOntario, they have people specifically to help you understand the whole process.
