Zygote Primary Ovarian Follicles and Oocyte Cell Cycle Stage?

45 year old woman comes to the physician because of chronic pelvic pain. A diagnosis of of uterine leiomyoma is made total hysterectomy is done. Histological examination shows multiple primary follicles each containing oocyte. These oocytes are most likely arrested in which phase of meiosis.

a. anaphase
b. metaphase
c. prophase
d. telophase
e. interphase

after birth all the oocytes are arrested in prophase, the second miosis occurs after ovulation, only one oocyte that was ovulated starts miosis II but arrests in metaphase.

so only the ovulated egg will be im metaphase all the rest in prophase.
