I am sorry to bother u guys to asking this question. But I need to be clear....

Is 2 digit score obsolete now? If not, from when it will be?

And if someone get like 234 in 3 digit score, does that means that he corrected 234 questions in 322?

Please guys let me know if u have any idea....

Thanks.

From what i have read about...It is not obsolete...the two digit score will be reported to you and state boards, but NOT to specific residency program.

From wiki: "The NBME / FSMB have never clearly stated that the three-digit score is based on an absolute scale with a maximum of 300. "
So i am not sure if it is really scored that way, or if it is based on a more completed scoring algorithm.

The 2-digit score has been obsolete for a long time. The only people who care about it are your state licensing agency (who only cares whether or not you passed the test) and your parents (who like to hear that you scored a 99, but that doesn't really happen anymore).

No. Nobody knows exactly how the 3-digit score is calculated... all we know is that it's a scaled score that's adjusted based on the difficulty level of the questions that you got on your test.

The two digit score is of no importance or consequence whatsoever.
They might even get rid of it all together.

All what matters is the 3-digit score (the 2-digit score was nice for updating ur FB status or twitter account, or showing off in front of your friends and family. I guess that's all what it was good for!)
