Thumbs Up

I would suggest you to give exam only when your nbme scores are near your goal of step 1 score..

Default calm down

195 is not miserable . There is hope .
In general one should write if he can get over 200 .
Do one more NBMe
Push FA
Go write . You'll be fine .
You not far off .
Good luck .
If you pass - ludoo for me ??

Default nbme

I will say is too close to the pass minimum, and may not be safe to take the exam being so close to fail. Go ahead and do another NBME, see where that one stands. May help you figure out what to do next, I don't think 18 days, and actually now less days, is enough time to get what you need from 195 baseline. This is just my opinion, not that I am an usmle or nbme expert or nothing, just trying to help. Good luck on your next NBME, perhaps this results were just a matter of being nervous and stress out.

195 in your first attempt is not bad. This only means the next time you need score much more than that and well with this score i think you can.

All the best

well it depends on a lot of things. do you just want to pass or you have a target score?
I personally believe you should postpone the exam till your NBMEs are where you want them to be.

well i say give FA a good solid read, then do your incorrects/flagged in UW, pay special attention to the weaknesses suggested by the NBME. then take another NBME in 2 weeks, work on the weaknesses suggested by this one for 1 week while revising the things you always forget (this is a good list List of Forgettables - What you need to review few days before the exam ).
then take the final NBME, you will definitely witness an increase in score if you put your mind to it. just don't linger on the same subject too long.
