Help Scored 200 on NBME 6

Hi all!
I have just taken NMBE 6 and got 410 (200) . Now i really dont know what to make of this. Im currently a 5th year medical student in a seven year program in Latin America, I intended to take my Step 1 in December of this year (havent paid yet). I have just read KLN of physio and pharm once, since Ive just started preparing 3 weeks ago. My question is, I was aiming for 240+ on my step 1 (a guy can dream right? ), but i dont know if i can achieve that having this score starting out. Should I just postpone my step 1 to next year or until I graduate? Also how should i gear my preparation? Should I emphasize my worst subjects (behav and micro) or first give and overall review to everything?

Thanks for your input, I will soon be posting some questions that I didnt understand

The NBME prediction is not good at the beginning of your prep. I'd suggest you move on to the other subjects and then subscribe to Kaplan Qbank and then start doing at least 500 questions (reviewing at the same time) and then go do another NBME, at that time the NBME prediction would much more accurate and it can tell you whether you should delay the exam or not.

Thanks Sabio!

How long do you think I should take until I take my second NBME test? 3-4 months? Keep in mind I'm thinking on sitting my exam on december this year.

I guessing you are also implying that before i take my second NBME test I should have already done KLN + FA + Goljan/pathoma+ 500 questions of Kaplan QBank right? How long should all of this take me if I want to sit my exam on December?

Thanks again

200 at start of prep, you are more than 6 months away, of course you can achieve the score you are looking for, just follow any study plan on this forum that suits you and you will be fine.

Starting out with an NBME score of 200, 6 months before your exam, means you're a genius

Study and you'll probably get a phenomenal score
