Unhappy Guys am stuck up really badly

I have spent around 8 months for the step 1 prep... read UW, kaplan, goljan, and FA..
then when i gave my first UW assessment got around 209... then revised up everything once and gave an NMBE 7 after 10 days gap, again got 207, then UW assessment 2 after 15 days, then 211..

then final revision and NBME 11, got 195..

in this 2 months gap of assessment, i did UW once again, first aid 3-4 times, kaplan materials revision, goljan revision twice and 4 offline NBME s too...

cant give the exam, bcoz with such a score i have to quit MLE plans completely, which i dont wanna do after spending soo much time and money..

But really blank now as to how to go about with my prep...

Plzzz guys do suggest me something.. Completely Blank..

I am sure you will get much better replies than mine from other members, cos I have just started my preps for Step 1...But one thing which can help you.Find out what you are not as good as the others...and work on it...Try to relax a bit...You didn't do all this ,just to quit in the end...Take a day or 2 off...And then come back and ACE it...I am sure you can do it.

I think what you need is to go over a source you've already used such a FA but in a new way ... I suggest you start watching DIT (Doctors in Training) Videos ... about 75 hours of video that covers all the subjects and goes over FA. Keep doing questions along with it and then take an assessment (NBME not UWSA). Hopefully that will bump you up by 20 points or so from 207 to close to 230.

i agree with you. i'm kinda DIT fan
i haven't seen a student whose score didn't grow after DIT for about 20-30 points.
go for DIT do the NBME online - see the difference

whatever subjects you performed poorly on in your nbme, go over them again BUT not the same way. Use a new source.
ie. if you're weak in neuro and studied Kaplan for it, get HY Neuro
if micro is a weakness, get CMMRS
etc etc

then after that, do DIT.

DIT was made for people like you, its the best for when people hit a Plateau.

Do it completely and to the fullest extent, with no shortcuts (with the notebook and the quick revisions on weekends and a block of UW daily everything).

If you do it properly, it'll probably take something like 3 weeks on average (not less than 15 days and not more than a month).

if you find the offline one. it's kinda the same as online. it is 2011 version and online one is 2012 version. there's no big difference between them.
so Gl
