GIT Colonoscopy Picture Question!

55 y.o. man with severe rectal bleeding came in the ER. he's sheduled for colonoscopy. colonoscopy revealed the following:

the first thing that popped to my mind was AVM or angiodysplasia, but why aortic stenosis?

Aphous ulcers are associated with crohn's disease. about angiodysplasia... it's not explained why is there an association between it and calcific aortic stenosis... it's very common and in fact correction of aortic stenosis (.e.g. valve replacement) usually takes care of angiodysplasia in colon. it's called heyde's syndrome. it's been about 70 years since syndrome was described but no explanations are found yet.

i found it in goljan rr in GI chapter.if you want i'll provide the page.
