From what I remember and from what I've heard, you will get questions with images BUT the question stem will have all the clues etc that will make the image questions easier. For almost all the questions with images, the question stem gives enough info to give you the answer.

Also, if you guys have such less time, do not include a new source coz that will lead to panic if you can't finish it! And if you want, go over images for Neuro - use HY Neuro or the practice exam at the end of Kaplan Videos

since u have 3 weeks , putting 2 hrs daily before bedtime to webpath is sufficient for u......In this way u can do all webpath images and will not regret later that ''had u done that before''......!!!!

umm 13 is kinda tough cos i took it! so may be u shd take it first. ppl say 7 n 12 are good predictors, may be somebody who knows abt this can pitch in..

well in my case, I did NBME 11 before NBME 12,

so I will say do NBME 11 twelve (12) days before exam and NBME 12 three (3) days prior to exam......

bcoz (perhaps) if u score less in NBME 11 ,u must have some days to study something to improve ur score....the improvement u can see in NBME 12 which u give later.........!!!!

BEST OF LUCK

I know nothing about nbme 13 coz it wasn't released during the time of my step......

nbme 7 and nbme 12 are real predictors.....they have questions similar to the real exam......

but I will say do nbme 7 before nbme 12 coz I did that way....lol

i've been doing webpath images for about 30min (a quick skim through of the system i studied today) at the end of the day for the past 3 days.

i'm not putting too much emphasis on it.

guys, im doing NBME 13 this sunday if anybody wants to do likewise we can discuss it here on the forum after!

I did nbme 12 2 weeks ago, scored 219.
I did nbme 11 1 week ago, scored 219.
form 11 was a bit trickier but at the end of the day they are all normalized so regardless of it being easy or tough, it will predict the same 3 digit score.

I'm aiming for 221 this sunday on nbme 13.

then 15 days of DIT second pass, then nbme form 7 on may 29th or 30th (hoping for 225-229).

When are your exams?
Mines June 6th
We should all make a thread for people taking it last week of may/first week of june.

if you're the kind of person to freak out and the exam is 15 days away then dont do it
do form 7 or 11

i think that doing Webpath is good to actually get what's morpologicaly is going on. but i think it's not essential for usmle.
goljan image slides (other than in RR) are pretty good. go through them and it will be more than enough. as we all know there are few q-s which requires to guess only pathomorphology pic to get the answer, there will clues in a text.
so use this time for other stuff.
