Hi
What is the effect of sleep deprivation on Lymphocytes?
KLN text says it decreases while in video the slide says it increases.

Any help anyone?

i think decreases because sleep deprivation is a state of stress, in which we would have increased cortisol, and im pretty sure cortisol decreases lymphocytes.

and it makes sense logically, you're more prone to get sick when under stress or sleep deprived.

When you have kids and never sleep more than 3 hours for 2 years, it becomes very clear. Especially when your kids are screaming in the car: "Mommy wasn't it a red light?!!!", and you never even noticed.
