Question Diffuse abdominal tenderness diagnosis

A 24 year old woman is brought to the clinic by her parents because of the sudden onset of restlessness, hallucinations and emotional lability. She has no previous history of psychiatric illness neither substance abuse, was treated 3 weeks ago with Trimethroprim/Sulfa for a urinary tract infection. On physical examination she is pale, diaphoretic, and tarchycardic. She has diffuse abdominal pain tenderness to palpation and there is symmetric bilateral weakness of the lower extremities with diminished tendon reflexes. which of the following is the most likely diagnosis?

A- Acute intermittent porphyria
B- Addison disease
C- Guillain-Barré syndrome
D- Hyperthyroidism
E- Systemis lupus erythematous

This is one of those WtF Kaplan questions that you just sit there and ask the heavens - why dafuq would they ask me that?!?! I am not in las vegas to try my luck every time I hit "next" button.

I think this kind of Q are made to mess with us.... Not meant to test your knowledge but to psychologically mess with us...

The presentation is most consistent with AIP, but what is the relevance of the TMP-SMX?
