Kaplan Medical When to take the Kaplan live lectures?

Hi ! I'm planning my schedule and I have some doubts. I'm thinking about using:

- Kaplan Live Lectures
- Kaplan's center prep (lecture notes and videos)
- First Aid
- Qbank
- Uworld
- DIT, falcon or anything else to review at the last weeks while doing questions.

I'll have 6 months! I really want to make the 14 week live lecture (I think it's better than the 7 week option) but it must be starting my prep without reviewing ANYTHING (I really don't have the time and there is no other choice if I want to take 14 wks). I like that choice because you review the topic each day in the afternoons with "small study groups".

The other option is to start about a month and a half with the kaplan videos and books... and then take the 7 week live lecture course (no 14 week course will be available in that time).

What do you think guys about it? I'll will appreciate any advise from you! Maybe share your experience or your study plan!

Thank you !!!

i did kaplan 14 week myself, first thing in my prep (having known nothing).
14 week was great, but only because the TA for my small group was an amazing TA. my other classmates, who were put in a different small group didnt have such a great TA and hence, the 14 week wasnt so worth it for them.

I like more interactive and visual learning so I chose Kaplan early in my prep. Some people say read and then take Kaplan, but that wouldn't have worked for me.

So it depends on what works best for you.

Thanks for replying! I think exactly the same... I don't think studying 6 months by myself would work for me.

Did you had enough time to read the topics or watching the videos before or after classes or just have time to attend the lectures?

I will thank you any other advice from you.. It seems like I'll make that choice.

Thanks again !
