Question Burkitt Lymphoma Diagnosis

A 35-year-old man Nigerian who is emigrated 20 years ago to USA, decide to go to a physicist for a tumor in the jaw . After careful evaluation, the physicist send him to make a panel study which includes: Histology, genetic, and immunologic. The result: In the histologic study exists an anaplastic cell with admixed abundant lymphocytes; in the immunogentic there is the presence of t(8;14). The physicist still not beleives than the diagnosis is Burkitt's lymphoma, which of the following you expect to be an additional to confirm the diagnosis?

A) c-myc + HHV-6 + LMP-3
B) c-myc + HHV-5 + LMP-2
C) c-myc + HHV-4 + LMP-1
D) c-myc + HHV-7 + LMP-4
E) c-myc + HHV-8 + LMP-2
F) c-myc + HSV-2 + LMP-1

Epstein Barr is herpes #4 causes Burkit lymphoma (Blacks have in Africa have it in the jaw, in US it is usually in the abdomen) + EBV causes nasopharyngeal carcinoma and CNS lymphoma in AIDS

#1 - "cold sore"
#2 - Herpes (what happens in Vegas - stays in Vegas... but this one always returns haha)
#3 - VZV (shingles and all that postherpetic neuralgia

#5 - CMV (torCh)
#6 - is that red thing (roseolla?) on the cheeks that British prince has
#7 - #?
#8 - Kaposi

All of these viruses get their envelope from the host's nuclear membrane

Also say C

HHV 1- HSV oral > genital
HHV 2- HSV genital > oral
HHV 6- Roseola
HHV 7- Contracted from monkey bites
HHV 8- Kaposi's sarcoma: seen in AIDS patients, but not to be confused with the lesion of bacillary angiomatosis (exclusive to AIDS patients), which is caused by???.........................Bartonella henselae.

ans is C (hope m right this time....i cannot take two wrongs in a row :sorry: )

HHV-8 is also associated with DLBCL (diffuse large Bcell lymphoma) i.e body cavity lymphoma..
