350 on NBME is less than 75 ,2 digit score and less than 188 ,3 digit score means a fail.... Right ?

I wont go to the real exam unless i do at least above 200 OR 220 if I really wanna do good on this exam.

I won't comment on whether you should go for the exam or not,cos there are more experienced members on this forum ,and I will let them reply to that.since you have very little time to the exam.

Have you watched the DIT videos? (Doctors in Training)...Its basically videos explaining First Aid...Its available on the internet for download.bPeople have said that it has boosted their score by 20 to 30 points.bAlso find out from the NBME assessment which are your week areas and work on that. If you can postpone the exam. Do it. It will be another month or so hard work...But it will be worth it in the end.
Good Luck.

postpone it
you're not ready

try new sources such as:
DIT
pathoma
goljan
or any textbooks for your weak subjects

The only thing bad about NBME is that you dont get the answers and explainations. Don't know if you have to pay extra and you can get the explanation.

I dont remember exactly about paying the fee stuff...cos I have not been through that process yet.

Postpone, at least a month (probably more).

-Do DIT religiously, don't passively watch the videos (a quick scan of whatever you watched through the day, and a thorough revision every few DIT "days").
-Do a block of UW every day, completely understand every single concept it has to offer. The in's and out's of everything.

Doing this might take a few weeks, maybe even a month.
After this month take an NBME, and celebrate the rise in your score.

keep on redoing this process -while focusing on your weak areas that show up every time- until you hit your target score on an NBME.

how do you get a score of 350 when are there just 4 blocks of 50 questions in each? I guess the max you can get is 200 :S

its not that simple.
nbme uses a logarithm that takes into account many factors to give u that score, or the 3digit score that you see on your step1.
