Immunology CD8 or CD4 in Type 4 Hypersensitivity Reaction!

hi guys

hypersensitivity reaction type 4 mediated by:

CD 8 T LYMPHOCYTE

or

CD4 T LYMPHOCYTE

or

both?!!

q 1133 q 544 q680 in uworld have conflicting information

or maybe I cant understand well.

I believe both. CD8 and macrophages are the effector cells, but CD4 cells play a regulatory role by activating the effector cells.
