Kaplan Medical Difference between Kaplan Live lectures & Videos

Has anyone taken Kaplan live lectures? Is it any different from the videos? & has it helped to get a high score?
I'm planning to take the Kaplan Step 1 Classroom anywhere option & before spending that much money I want to know if its a must ?

notes have less jokes about Mr.Johnes.

KLN videos mostly follow the notes, some videos basicly read from the book.

They are good in the beginning of your prep or if you terribly lack discipline

live lectures are much much better and very different from the notes.
you will have doctors telling you about latest style of question asking... making u do practice questions..

also updates to books.
ways to remember difficult stuff.
what is high/low yield.
'
if you take the 14/16 week course you will hv just 4 hours of lectures in a day .. and then 4 hours of a study group with question solving etc.. which basically makes the things permanent in your head

and once u have barone you'll basically reinforce ALL your subjects.
videos tend to become tedious beyond a point due to the long long duration..but however are better than doing nothing!

if you can afford it you must do the 14/16 week course...
it helps not just for step1 but also step 2..

if however you are planning to take the 7 week course... alot of people say its difficult to keep up with.. so might consider savign the money for kaplan qbank and doing videos instead.

the classroom anywhere is pretty similar to the videos..
obv there are diff of the teachers making it a little more interactive.. and more emphasis on certain aspects.. but not worth all the cash i guess.

thats a personal choice though.

(i've done the 14 week live lectures course in NY for step 1 and also their live lectures for step 2 and so am pretty aware of all their course content etc.)

if given an option between classroom anywhere and videos..
id pick videos (can get them online easily) and then just invest the money i saved into Kaplan Qbank for a prolonged duration (the one for 199$-- so you have plenty of time to do it and go over it) and do qbank once im done with a few lectures.

and then once you are done with qbank 100% .. move to uworld/FA/DIT/Kaplan revision
