Planning 7 days left!! My study plan.

One week from today i'll be writing my exam. Been a long road and this is the last stretch.

Took my last NBME today, scored 224.
I'm aiming for 225 on the exam.

My study schedule:
(source for readings is FA)

May 31st - 46Q UW (marked questions) + behavioural, immuno, embryo, biochem.
June 1st - 46Q UW + offline nbme (2nd pass) + 3 systems
June 2nd - 46Q UW + offline nbme (2nd pass) + 3 systems
June 3rd - 46Q UW + offline nbme (2nd pass) + 4 systems
June 4th - 32Q UW + FA rapid review + NBME images + CF 100 cases (questions) + my UW notes + micro + DIT day quizzes.
June 5th - Free 150 + visit prometric

June 6th - EXAM!

What do you guys think?
Any and all feedback would be appreciated.

I have to make sure I get to bed on time tonight so i can start waking up early and studying by 9am (my exam is 9am-5pm) lol

Sounds like a good plan. Which offline NBME's are you doing ? 7,11,12,13 ?
Also, for June 4th - Its way too packed! How many UW notes do you have? I had about 80 pages of UW Notes and that alone would take me the whole day to read! FA rapid review will take about 2 hours.

Can you send me CF 100 cases questions and NBME images on skype if you have time ?! I have the CF 100 cases book but I don't know if that's what you're referring to ?

Thanks and GOOD LUCK!

Study using a "scorched earth" strategy.

Meaning, whatever topic you're studying ,always keep in mind at the back of your head that the next time you'll see this topic is during the exam. So, really burn it before proceeding to your next topic.

Your plan sounds good, your NBME's are reassuring, and your progress has been a gradual and natural upward slope.

Honestly, I predict a 230's in the real deal.

Good luck bro

@numbndumb: i got 224 in form 7

@H2P: im doing forms 12,11,7 offline. i would do 13 too but dont have the answer key for it so itll take too long. and yea the CF 100 cases is the same thing, i mean ima do the 102 questions that are in the back of it.

@renaissance: yea thats kind of what ive been trying to do. and ha! 230 i wish. im kinda worried i wont hit that 225 but lets see how it goes.

Its best you don't start them now! Just nap for an hour max and that will be refreshing. I drink energy drinks all the time (I get 24 packs so I never run out lol) and it got to the point where everyday around 4 PM, I would crave an energy drink. And just the sight of one would give me the energy and I would look forward to drinking it - I guess that was classical conditioning LOL But I realized that's a problem and stopped them

Of all the energy drinks, there's only one that I take. The most effective, in my opinion, is the "5-Hour" energy drink.

There's no (sugar/caffeine) "crash" at the end. That's the big difference from the others.
It's not 5 hours too -- it lasts the whole day.

Good luck in your exam, Dr. Nick!! Wish you all the best!
