Default Inpatient vs Outpatient experience...?

I am planning to apply to Florida Internationa Uni for an elective in Jan-March 2017. They state that the offer experience on an outpatient basis only. How will that affect my experience? Does it matter whether I've had more experience with inpatient departments or outpatient ones?

Inpatient experience is better, by the way in FIU, it's clinic based exposure.

Yeah so clinic based is outpatient, right? So I should be looking for better options?

FIU doesn't only offer outpatient electives; it depends on which specialty you're doing the elective in. If you contact them via phone/email, they can send you all the paperwork. However, I'm attaching the PDF file just in case which has the description for each elective.

Source: I have been accepted to FIU electives for Nov and Dec 2016.
