Kaplan Medical Kaplan Qbank: 70%, is it good enough?

Hello,

I'm currently halfway through Kaplan Qbank and would like to know if a 70% is a good enough score to break the 250s?

I took the Kaplan diagnostic test less than a month ago and got 73%.

Any advice from those who have gotten >245? what did you do? NBME correlations (7, 11, 12).

better to learn the truth now via an nbme than for us forum members to sugarcoat it and tell you fairytales and then you take the test and score lower than you wanted.

I finished uworld first round with a 67% correct, on the 73rd percentile. that was right before taking the UWSA1.

Im lost, I need some advice on what to do, should i keep changing my date or should i just take it now and get it done.

Cool

If you are lost then it is a right time to take an NBME... it will tell you where you are and what you need to do... its just a self assessment so dont freak out.... you should be more scared of not giving an NBME...

the weird thing for me is that I dont seem to make any progress on Kaplan Qbank despite constant revisions. I started off @74% and I'm still the same after having done 75% of the qbank in 1.5 week

My scores on Kaplan are very variable and I have no idea why this is! Has anyone else also faced a similar problem?!

What kind of revisions are you talking about? Ive been doing DIT and falcon notes. My scores keep improving, slowly but surely.

Every 3rd test I seem to slip down to ~55%. Very variable, sometimes it's like 63% then next test 52% .

its just a block
46Q
randomly chosen

whereas nbmes are 200q, chosen to cover all topics in the proportion that is consistent with the step1.

nbme's track progress
not qbanks.
