Question How should I structure my breaks during the exam?

Last day of studying today! (Free 150 and chilling tomorrow)

I need to get a game plan for the actual test.
I can't go 2 blocks straight, so I have to take a break between each block.
But the duration, when to eat, when to use an energy drink, etc. is what i need to determine.

How's this sound?:

block 1 - break for 5min (pep talk to reassure myself i'm a beast and i got this)
block 2 - break for 5min (protein shake)
block 3 - break for 5min (banana)
block 4 - break for 20min (eat lunch - 6inch sub)
block 5 - break for 5min (half a rebull)
block 6 - break for 10min (half a redbull + pep talk for last block)
block 7.

total break time used: 50min
total break time available (w/skipped tutorial): 60min +/-5

How does that sound?
Am I forgetting about anything I should/shouldn't do? Or any other factors on test day?

good callllll

umm i have no idea

maybe the developmental milestones?

so you get a little white board that u can scribble on and stuff during the test (ie. work out equations and such on it?)

and when you sit at your computer, the exam starts at exactly your scheduled time, or you can sit there for 5min, write on your marker board and then start your exam at say 5 after the hour?

Yeah that's the idea. Don't take too long though, just about 5-10 mins max. Even 10 mins is too much! It's basically to scribble stuff down that you think you'd forget, do calculations etc. Your time starts AFTER you log in and start your test/tutorial.

I'm guessing bathroom breaks are already accounted for?
Personally I'd go after the first block. Some students reported they found themselves rushing the 2nd block because they really had to go. Also those energy drinks will make u go.

I made a list of the topics from DIT as I watched the videos. He said "this is a good marker board topic" during the videos for random things. I don't have it typed up as I made the list on a sheet of a paper! And I don't have access to it right now at the moment. I will post up the marker board topics by tonight (hopefully before you sleep for your big day tomorrow )

Are you allowed to take eatables inside the examination hall??

I know you can take it to the test center but I was wondering if you would be allowed to sip redbull as you do your test.

dr. nick,
try to calm down before your exam starts rather than rushing on writting stuffs on that marker sheet...based on the idea that you have pretty much nailed most of the amnestic stuff....

good luck buddy...you are the beast !!

u can sit in the exam the way u like they monitor u in camera
2- yes u can for me the last 10 min break i back in 7 min and rest on my chair for 3 min then begin my block
bte way u shuld know they took ur finger print and ur sign when ever u leave the room or enter the room thats takes like 3 min sometimes
for me my finger print was very difficult dont appear on scanner so at the last they decide to take my sign only and send that to ecfmg and i pass the exam
