First Aid First Aid for Embryology and neuroanatomy !

Hello everybody,

Is First Aid enough for Neuroanatomy and Embryology ? and sure i'm doing UW and USMLeRx at the same time.

Also, can i consider First Aid is an excellent source for Microbiology and immunology?

Thanks in advance.

Generally speaking i find hard studying for the first time from FA itself, and more like revising from it, while using other sources, although dont get me wrong, from some people it's possible.
Immunology is covered well in FA, It contains most of the stuff, i didnt have to add alot of things to it.
Embryology is enough from FA, although some questions in USMLE world needs to be added.

Neuroanatomy - i really recommend studying from Organized source, although FA contains most of the stuff i found the kaplan videos and the High yield Neuroanatomy very helpful.

Micro is just all over the place in FA, i studied Micro a year ago in my university, and i have also assisted the department of microbiology this year, but honestly i am still having problems controlling the subject, the usmle world questions are not easy and some questions you are able to answer only from the explnation of usmle world itself , Im scoring around ~70% in UW, it's one of my weakest subjects in UW, anyhow what i did is FA and kaplan vidoes, you might want to consider something else which might help.

FA is good enough for micro , annotate it with uworld and the other Qbanks you are doing and that will do... but for immuno kaolan has got the concepts really well, hav a look thru that too...

neuroanat Q usually involve CTs and gross specimen images... kaplan neuro is good for that.. at the end of it they hav a compilation of images and stuff... found it haelpful... High Yield neuroanat is quite a fav too...
hope that helps...
