Question NBME 13.. does it underpredict??

Hello.. I've just done NBME 13.. I found it extremely hard .. My overall in UW is 79.. this predicts more than 260 .. I got 254 in this NBME.. I dont know is that UW overpredicting or NBME 13 is hard and tend to underpredict??

I heard once that its the hardest NBME so i am asking :P

my exam is after 8 days.. Any ideas of how can i increase my score?? .. I mean the report showed that all materials are high performance.. how can i tell which one to focus on??

Well first of all you have an excellent score, about to correlation, well i have 81% on UW and i got 247 on NBME 12, so you can see that the USMLEworld correlation to NBME is not that strong, and i know that some people will say that 80% on USMLEworld is like 270 on the exam, but again i tend to go with the NBME's. i guess you will get around 260.

If if i was you i would have go over the week parts (yeah thats what everybody says), memorize some equations, go over some ethical situations to make it stick better, Maybe revise some microbiology parts, and go over the marked/incorrect questions from UW. ofcourse also generally revise FA.

Good luck.

When ur already in a high level but want a higher score, then you have all the concepts you need for this exam and the main thing now is to have everything fresh in your mind.
So FA + UW notes over and over, and you'll be fine.

usmle world correlation with score is not strong at all. My two seniors had scored 81% in usmle world and got 241 and 247 in exam, which is far away from 260s.

NBME is better predictor, i guess.

As you have just left few days to exam, focus on crammable material or go over fa.
