Bacteria Campylobacter or Salmonella?

what is the most common cause of bloody diarrhea ? campylobacter or salmonella ? please mention relevant source ...

I think I read in KLN ages ago that its campylobacter in the US and salmonella worldwide... I think .. im not sure

Anyway i'd have to look for more information in the question abt the bug

Campylobacter is the most common cause of bacterial diarrhea in usa. Second common is salmonella. This is all actually stated in FA in order. Check pg.176 of FA 2011-- bloody diarrhea section. It lists, Common causes of bloody diarrhea in order, the first 3 being the most common--Campylobacter, salmonella, and shigella, and less common like E.coli and yersinia.
