Post Easy way for Basal Ganglia

Hello awesome guys,

Just discovered a simple way to understand basal ganglia and decided to share it!
It may not be 100% accurate and may be not 100% complete but I think it may help and safe time now and on the exam.

It is a link for just a hand-written sticky note:
above are the roles for how it works >> try to memorize it.. it is not that hard
below is the pathways .. Direct on left & indirect on right

***tips not written,

- ALMOST ALL BRAIN IS INHIBITORY EXCEPT BOSS "BRAIN" & ITS SECRETARY "THALAMUS and its daughter SUB THALAMUS"

- Sub thalamus lesion causes hemiballismus >>> involuntary flailing of one arm +/- ipsilatral leg
