Indonesia I want to know a few things (:

I haven't started my medical degree in Indonesia yet,
I'm going in late august. and I somehow stumbled upon USMLE sometime ago. It was then that I have decided to sit for the USMLE and move to US later for my practice. but before that, I'd like to know when is the most ideal time to take your Step 1, Step 2 CK/CS and Step 3.
Because I'm sure it wont be easy to manage my time between USMLE and my University exams. and how to know if my university is recognized by the EFCMG?
It may be too early for me to ask these questions..but oh well, what harm can it so, right?

I suggest you take Step 1 after you finished your pre clinic, when got S.ked for the tittle.
after you have finished all the hospital rotation you can take Step 2

university that recognized by the EFCMG, you can look at FAIMER.com

Hi there,

The absolute best time to take your Step 1 exam will be after the basic sciences portion of your schooling. Using your basic sciences as the main preparation tool for the Step 1 is crucial, as it is all-encompassing of that material.

Too many students decide to wait to take Step 1, but doing so at this point in your studies is advantageous because the material will never be quite as fresh in your mind. Keep the Step 1 as your goal when studying for your classes, and you will do just fine.

Good luck.
