Arrow NBME 6 Block 4 Discussion

Hi, if anyone did NBME 6 recently, plz plz help me with this one.
Question number 1 ... can u just tell me what the labelled parts are???
I am always so confused with the knee MRI's

i just did this morning....accrdng to me
D is anterior cruciate ligament and E is posterior cruciate ligament---look at the their attachment sites on the lower tibia

C would be ligamentum patellae
A and B----i have no clue

whats the answer for 39???? i think its social phobia but no option was given in the answer key.

43q--can any1 explain this one????? i was completely lost on this????

39 is probably social phoebia.
43 i dont know. i guessed it by exclusion of the other options

Hey can you tell how how to look at a cross section of knee joing MRI.
I mean they have 1 in UW but how do you know if ur looking at the cross section of the femur or tibia??? They both have those 2 condylar processes or smthing. I can nevr tell.
Also, how do you know medial and lateral sides on this cross section??

well....i just visualize the anatomy, i rely on image memory from books n online... i cant tell u exactly how to remem such things but its better u go thru all anatomy diagrams and images--just try to memorize them.....also have a glimpse of some 3d images available online for a better grasp only if u can spare some time..hope this was helpful..
