Hi!
What kind of masters do you want to do after the USMLE?
I don't think I quite understand your question...

I guess this thread is now old but if you are still wondering the same thing: I think there is not really a question. If you want to do a masters, then go ahead, do your TOEFL and get your applications in. Then worry about the USMLE. If not, then dont...

I believe as of now(not 100% sure), passing any of the steps, automatically passes you the TOEFL, the logic behind this being that you cant pass USMLE if you dont speak english properly.

How ever regarding your question if your Master thingy requieres TOEFL guess yoy ought to do it, although I have no idea how one studies for that since all you need to do is know you grammar

This is not true.
Fact: you do not need the TOEFL for the USMLE or to apply for residency, because your English is graded in Step 2 CS.

Fact: passing any USMLE step does not automatically "pass you the TOEFL". If you want to do another program, e.g. pursue a graduate degree, they will NOT care if you have taken any USMLE steps and this does not count as having taken the TOEFL.
